The La Trobe SRC is the peak student representative body at La Trobe University. It is made up of 9 Office bearers and 7 general members. Elections are held yearly in second semester. The La Trobe SRC represents students on University committees, organises political campaigns and provides various other services such as Advocacy, D ocument Binding, Fax Service and the SRC Library: covering Education, Women, Queers, Koori and Environment. It also provides 'The Age' newspaper tertiary subscription program, a meeting room and houses clubs and societies and the student media 'Rabelais' which are essential parts of student life.
